Are human beings interacting with their surrounding environment or fellow man anymore? Not so much. Technology has put us into a place I have coined, the “Digital Gulag.” I will be covering just how and why we have allowed ourselves to walk right into it. You see it’s always acquiescence or conformity that allows the trap to trip. It’s not through force that an entire populace can be forcibly enslaved. The great Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn in his book The Gulag Archipelago stated, “You only have power over people as long as you don’t take everything away from them. But when you’ve robbed a man of everything, he’s no longer in your power-he’s free again.” Some of us are realizing freedom is a state of mind, inside the digital “hole.”
I can actually remember when the “internet” was just static pages accessed through dial-up service! Yep, been around for a while. I thought it was revolutionary. Soon websites evolved to contain interactive links, containing information, and the ability to shop “digital” storefronts! I remember immediately thinking, “how will this affect brick and mortar stores though?” I was thinking ahead at an early age. Little did I realize the full potential of this life-changing digital world that was ushering in.
So much information was at everyone’s fingertips as long as you had access to the internet in the early days. Didn’t know how to do something, “Google it” people would say. They weren’t lying. Quickly I realized the learning opportunity with the advent of so many informational sites available in the early days. There was something for everyone. Need to troubleshoot a problem with your car, no problem. Learn how to build your own desktop PC, no problem. Learning a foreign language, done! “Higher” education seemed pointless honestly. But alas, we had all the damn “boomers” guilting all the kids into attending college still. Yes, the Devil’s handymen at work. “Boomers” have been and always will be known for the decline of this country. From sucking up wages they hardly deserved, to actually live in some semblance of “The American Dream,” to buying into the “Peace and Love” hippie era of drugs and degeneracy! The “University Industrial Complex” juggernaut should actually give a kickback to all “Boomers” that pushed their children into attending because they helped create the money “sink” revolving door that universities are today. Sorry, I digress, but “Boomers” have sunk this country big time! More like propaganda tools for generational brainwashing. “Higher” education my ass.
I saw the internet as the Library of Alexandria rising like a Phoenix from the ashes. It was incredible to have the knowledge of the world at my fingertips. I began learning as much as I could year after year, especially once I was aware that nothing is what it once seemed. Short of mathematics, I felt that nothing I learned in my early school years meant much of anything. I feel like “formal” education is just a medium to push through generational brainwashing, not unlike the University Industrial Complex, aimed at creating loyal serfs for the ones who truly control the world. If you can’t figure this out first, you are truly lost. A life of endless work with no time for much else is not “living” at all, it’s existing.
As time has passed, I regretfully admit, censorship has crept into “Freedom of Speech” on the internet. Censorship has slowly eroded away at what was once a magnificent Alexandrian Library bearing knowledge, to what now resembles a crumbling necropolis with one-sided viewpoints. Sure, you can still get all kinds of information, but if certain keywords are used, that information is quickly changed or gone to the digital ether, never to be seen again.
It didn’t seem long ago, that the first consumer cellular phones were out for use, much like the beginning of the internet. Mostly “clam-shell” flip phones were all that was available initially. Then as the internet data towers increased, cellular phones evolved into handheld computers. This allowed almost full access to all of the internet’s use as on a desktop. Incredible for all the reasons I mentioned above. Now learning anywhere was possible. Waiting on something, somewhere? No better way to kill time than putting on a learning video. It was great.
Sadly, social media along with various useless apps have now taken over the usage time of most mobile users. Not so much about learning anymore. Again, nefarious activities abound with so many apps allowing “secret” messaging and a harem of men or women at one’s fingertips. This of course doesn’t cover the full capability of the degenerate and time “wasting” activities available, but you can concur with what is going on here. The breakdown of human interaction has gradually gotten worse over the past two decades.
GPS monitoring is almost always on inside your phone even if you turn it “off.” This is for what I’m assuming is 911 related safety services, but again, this is a breakdown of privacy. In essence, you are being tracked everywhere you go if someone wanted to take a gander at the data. I see many more people every day carrying nothing but their phones with all “digital” credit cards. This can be a huge issue pertaining to security. Phones have been hacked many times over, draining all financial information as well as other private data from the user. It is imperative to either refrain from keeping this data stored on the phone or have a better understanding of cryptology and material blocking countermeasures available to secure this information. Banking has also become more accessible via mobile use as well, posing its’ own set of hurdles.
I recently created a post on banking and recommend checking that out to understand the system a bit better. What I do want to cover briefly here is the ability to get “backdoored” on your account. It really isn’t a warrant-based system for entry as you are already signing off on various amounts of rights when you set up a bank account. The nature of the digital system allows for entry into your account at a moment’s notice. This along with where and how you spend your money is being tracked with every swipe of your “bank” card. Do you want to make a cash withdrawal? You will be sitting down with someone asking you why you want your own money in cash, and what exactly for most of the time. This data is then entered into a system for later document retrieval if necessary. Another invasion of your privacy. Again, I recommend looking at the post about usury, to have a better understanding of the banking “cartel.”
The latest craze taking over the world has got to be “crypto” currency. Yeah man, invest into the crypto “bubble” that will end no different from the stock market bubbles from years past! Only to see your money swiped from you when the big boys decide it’s time to rob everyone. This is a game you will not win, trust me. Sure, some have benefited and still can, but this whole thing will blow big, and when it does, those who spent their hard-earned money will walk away with little to nothing at the end. In theory, an alternative currency that was almost un-trackable, as well as un-touchable, is slowly becoming more and more controlled and losing its sense of security and privacy. There are new types of digital “coin” currency popping up seemingly everywhere, every day! I guess hard-working folks don’t sit around and think, where the hell did this new “coin” currency sprout up from and what is “backing” it up to have any value in the first place? It’s a damn mirage, people! It’s the same as myself or anyone else saying, “I created this new “NFT” and I’m going to sell it to you for $10,000! I promise it will go up in value and later you can resell it.” These digital things are being propped up by “front-men” because there is something in it for them. These things have to start being analyzed before jumping straight into them. That water is damn shallow, and I don’t recommend diving in!
Lastly, I want to cover some “smart” devices. These are simply “lazy” devices created to make your life less active. Less active people are better consumers and a walking medical bill at best. Starting to see the big picture yet? It’s a system meant to keep you consuming through working! If you actually read through the paperwork of these “smart” devices, you can clearly see they are monitoring devices as well. I mean if it is attached to a “hive” mind, that data is going somewhere, bud. I’m not even touching on the disastrous health effects most of these devices can emit through your dwelling here in this post but wanted to mention that caveat here!
This brings me to Robotics or other versions of AI. You all can see what is happening with your local fast-food joint amongst other establishments you may frequent. Ordering at the screen is becoming more and more prevalent. This rids the restaurant of a cashier right off the bat! When you consider automation, that can then eliminate many behind-the-line workers. It is a slow elimination of personnel with the inability to correct mistakes. What if your order came out incorrect?! Too bad, eat it anyways. Does not correcting mistakes save the corporation money? You bet it does. There is a reason for everything. Does cutting human labor save the corporation money? You bet it does. Follow the green brick road and you always find a reason. It won’t be long before AI/robotics take over the majority of human labor. This is just one example inside a sea full of technological excrement.
Suffice to say, we live in a real-life dystopia where what was once meant to help us is being used to divide and break us. Whether it is a “social credit” score, “vaccine pass,” or other “digital” badge you must present for access to your “free life,” society is being ushered into the Digital Gulag by way of the “Acquiescence” train. With no one to blame but ourselves, a few of us see the writing on the “propaganda poster” and are jumping off the train at the next pick-up location. Feel “free” to jump on board, but I’m escaping from the impending clutches of The Digital Gulag Archipelago before I even get there. Till next time….
